A study conducted by the United Nations Millennium Campaign (UNMC) covering 17 countries in Africa undertaken in 2010 as part of the MDGs +10 Review process indicates that Africa remains the only region in the world that risks not meeting most of the Goals by 2015. The study concludes that citizens have to redouble their efforts and pressurize their governments to adopt appropriate policies and MDGs-focused national planning and
budgeting prioritisation, and implement concrete actions to accelerate achievement of the Goals by 2015.
